[ARCHIVED] Road paving project on Highway 160 in town starts Monday

Traffic lanes will be reduced on a 1.1-mile stretch of Highway 160 in Pahrump from Matthew Lane to Boothill Drive starting Monday, July 11th as the Nevada Department of Transportation begins work on a paving project.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction during project working hours, from approximately 5 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. The project is anticipated to take 30 working days and finish around August 19th.

North of the project, NDOT will remove and replace a cattle guard at Roadrunner Road and do patchwork on Highway 160 near the US Highway 95 intersection. Las Vegas-based Holcim is the general contractor on the approximately $2 million project.Boothill to Matthew SR 160 project (png)
