COVID Vaccines moving to by appointment; Weekly clinic ends

Starting Monday, May 23rd, the COVID Vaccine will be available Monday thru Thursday, by appointment only, at the Community Health Nurse Office, 1981 E Calvada Blvd. Please call 775-751-7070 and leave a message to be scheduled. Pfizer (Ages 5+) and Moderna (18+) and boosters available. 

Pfizer and Moderna doses only. Please bring ID, insurance, and proof of income to the appointment. Anyone with exceptions (No ID) will need to call to speak to a staff member regarding the appointment. 

CHILD VACCINATIONS: Get your child up to date on immunizations for school or just in general. Parents or legal guardians may call the Community Health Nurse Office at 775-751-7070 to leave a message and someone will call them back for more information. We can take some private insurance accepted.

The Health Nurse Office now has Evusheld, the only non-vaccine with emergency use authorization (EUA) from the FDA to prevent infection from COVID-19 before a person before virus exposure. Evusheld is delivered in 2 intramuscular shots in the same visit. Supplies are limited. There are specific conditions people need to meet to receive the medication.
