[ARCHIVED] Burn Moratorium will be lifted Nov 1 by Pahrump Valley Fire & Rescue; Burn Permit required

Pahrump Valley Fire Rescue will lift the burn moratorium at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.  

 Open burning is subject to Pahrump Town Ordinance no. 28 and includes the requirement for property owners to acquire a burn permit with valid liability property insurance.

The burn moratorium has been in place since May 31st.


The Bureau of Land Management in Southern Nevada lifted fire restrictions on October 1st, and the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest lifted forest-wide fire restrictions on October 13th. This does not include Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. 


Pahrump Valley Fire & Rescue  will lift the burn moratorium at  8 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
